The Shop, Plant Centre and Restaurant are open 7 days a week, 12 months of the year (the only time we close is between Christmas and New Year).

The Garden is open annually between March and October (actual dates are available on request). After many years of year-round opening, there is a lot of structural and ground work required to return the garden to its glorious best, and Winter closure will also provide a well-deserved opportunity for the lawns and borders to rest. As work is undertaken and completed, we plan to extend our open season in the future. In consultation with our head gardener, we will continue to offer occasional off-season opening, which will be available only to Season Ticket holders.

On a chance visit to Merriments garden centre, we were pleasantly surprised by the selection of plants available. The coffee shop was also a good surprise and the cream tea was exceptional and well worth the indulgence.
