In 2021 we made the decision to only offer our customers bagged Melcourt’s Peat-Free compost, and then last year we moved to growing all our plants on the Nursery here in their Peat-Free All Purpose Compost with added John Innes. During this time, as our country moves towards a complete ban on peat-based compost, we have found that many questions have arisen both for us & our customers.
