Welcome to what is probably the best stocked Wildlife and Bird Centre in the South East. What sets us apart is our huge selection of feeders, a vast stock of food and an array of nest boxes to meet all your wildlife and wild bird requirements.
Our centre manager and wildlife expert, Dan Mead, is available to offer advice and tips on how to attract, watch and care for wildlife inside and outside of your garden. Dan is also joined by bird enthusiast Phil Mason who will be working at Merriments Bird Centre on Fridays and Saturdays.
Dan will be introducing an education programme at Merriments and throughout the year will be hosting a variety of walks and talks and presentations about the importance of helping to conserve our country's birds and wildlife.
The Wild Bird Centre has lots of interesting products designed to help wildlife, such as butterfly feeders, insect nest boxes, reptile and amphibian bunkers, bee hives and hedgehog boxes.We also stock Hedgehog food, Badger food and Swan and Duck food. We have a great selection of charts and guides designed to help you identify wildlife as well as books and DVD's to inform and educate. We also have humane animal traps, Butterfly nets, pond nets and trays and magnifying pots for studying small creatures in detail. Dan and Phil are happy to advise each customer on the best products for their garden.
