Merriments Garden and Nursery
What's blooming in the garden in August?

There is a sense of discovery in the garden in August. The climbers on the Monet Arches have reached full height and are sizzling, this 'tunnel' then leads on to the Jewelled Garden which is full of vibrant gem colours such as purples, hot pinks and reds and the grasses are looking their best and are wonderfully silky to touch. The golden border is filled with many golden hues.

Throughout the garden there are still many pretty roses still flowering and covering a wide pallete of colours with beautiful scent sensations.  The autumn sedums are already looking splendid.

Falconry in the garden

Join us on Sunday 21st September when we will welcoming some unusual guests to the garden...

Extreme Falconry will be bringing along their birds of prey for some exciting falconry displays.  With a bird hide in our garden we are used to many different types of feathery friends but if you go down to the garden in September expect to see eagles, hawks, falcons, owls and vultures.

Extreme Falconry will be at Merriments between 10am -4pm on Sunday 21st.   Visitors will be able to enjoy this event when purchasing entry to the garden 6 for adults and as a special on this day, kids go free.
