On Saturday 3rd May at 11am, take a tour around Merriments fabulous 4 acre garden with leading garden journalists Helen Yemm the Telegraphs Gardening Columnist & Stephanie Donaldson Country Living Contributory Garden Editor.
 
Stephanie and Helen will select their favourite plants in the garden, discussing plants that are good for bees and those for great colour combinations.

Spring Flowers Spectacular!
 
Stunning colour themed displays of over 10,000 tulips including many popular and unusual varieties. The garden will also be bursting to life with a beautiful display of pretty spring flowers including amongst others: fritillaries, daffodils, muscari, magnolias and wood anemones.
 
 
 
Daily from 5th April to 11th May
 
 
Usual garden entry price applies: 6 for adults and 3 for children.
 
 
Plant of the Month
 
 
Our plant of the month is the wonderfully versatile and great value plant Euphorbia. They can be annuals, perennials, shrubs or succulents and they all have a milky sap and small flowers held within cupped often colourful bracts. An easy to grow plant that will every situation from dessert to bog garden, formal courtyard to woodland.

Merriments are excited to be exhibiting for the first time at the prestigious Wealden Times Fair at Hole Park in Rolvenden on Thursday 5th - Saturday 7th June. Merriments customers can benefit from a 25% discount by quoting ref EXS14 when purchasing a ticket on-line by midnight 30th April.

Merriments are part of National Nurseries Week

 

Merriments are excited to be part of National Nurseries Week  1-7th May. The campaign was launched earlier this year by Gilly Pollack of the British Plant Nursery Guide and garden journalist and broadcaster Matt Biggs. Gilly said:  "The campaign is aimed at promoting the benefits of buying from local nurseries, these benefits include: free advice from experienced gardeners, as well as excellent healthy plants grown locally." Matt Bigs said: "Supporting nurseries helps reduce plant miles and boosts the local economy."
 
Merriments will be holding a garden tour and talk by Helen Yemm and Stephanie Donaldsn on Saturday 3rd May as part of this event.
