THE MERRIMENTS 4 ACRE SHOW GARDEN
Tulip time is upon us and the garden is popping with colour from a palette of pink and purple tulips to the hot border sizzling with red, scarlet, orange and yellow varieties such as Ballerina, Yokohoma, and Pretty woman.
Very soon we will have breath-taking alliums in full flower creating a purple haze of charming lollipop heads. Their welcome vertical accents in the garden create wonderful movement when swaying in the breeze.
Our garden opening hours are: Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm, Sunday 10.30am -5pm
Adults:£5.50 pp, children: £2.50

MERRIMENTS PLANT OF THE MONTH
Our plant of the month for May is Euphorbia. Euphorbia is one of the largest and most diverse genera in the plant kingdom they can take the form of annuals, perennials, shrubs and succulents. Euphorbias are extremely versatile plants suiting many different aspects in a garden and have striking looks. Usually have a milky sap and small flowers held within cupped often colourful bracts.
We have a large range at Merriments including: Euphorbia wulfenii AGM, Euphorbia wulfenii Emmer Green, Euphorbia cyparissias Orange Man, Euphorbia griffithii Fireglow and many others.
