What's happening in the garden this month?

One of the most striking features in the garden at the moment are the large drifts of purple alliums lining the banks like lollipops arranged near the top pond. They are partnered by the pretty delicate candelabra primulas growing in the dry stream bed. There is a lovely pallete of soft colours from beautiful irises, peonies, foxgloves, aquilegias and geraniums filling the deep borders and creating a soft romantic feel.

There are many mature eye-catching roses throughout the garden scenting the air with their wonderful fragrance.
