What's happening in the garden this month?

Merriments’ garden is known for its wide sweeping borders exuberantly planted with herbaceous perennials and the garden in July lives up to that. There is a sense of mystery around each corner and much to discover including: the walled garden with rill, ponds, bog garden, wild meadow with bird hide and gravel garden hidden special areas.

Unusual and interesting colour and form combinations of plants fill the deep beds and dieramas and calamagrostis grasses ‘kiss’ in the rill in the Formal Garden. There are lots of lovely roses throuhout the garden delighting visitors with their fragance and large blooms.
